Spring is Springing: An April Reading Challenge for Kids
Hey, children’s book lovers! It’s time to dust off those bookshelves and get ready for the April Reading Challenge for Kids.
As the weather warms and the flowers start to bloom, we want to celebrate all the joys that come with the arrival of spring. So with this month’s challenge, we’re bringing books that make you think about nature, the environment, and the world around us.
We’ve got 10 mini-goals to keep you and your reader motivated and engaged throughout the month. Each goal has a unique theme, and we’re confident you’ll find something you’ll love in our selection.
Are you ready for some spring reading fun? Here’s a sneak peek at some of the goals we have in store for you:
Celebrate Earth Day (April 22nd): Read a book highlighting the importance of protecting the environment.
Muslim Voices: Read a book written by a Muslim author or featuring Muslim characters.
Springtime Science: Read a book about the science behind spring, like plant growth or animal migration.
Poetry in Bloom: Read a poem to a plant that you want to see grow.
April Showers: Find a new book or series to read on a rainy day.
We’ve got a whole lot more mini-goals in store for you, and we can’t wait for you to explore them all!
And the best part? This is a family challenge! Share progress with your friends and family, and let’s make this a reading adventure together. Let’s encourage each other to read more and discover new worlds within the pages of books.
So, are you ready to hop into spring with us? Join the April Reading Challenge for Kids, and let’s make this the best reading month yet!
