Love is in the Air with this February Reading Challenge!
Love is in the air! February may be the shortest month of the year with its mere 28 days, but it is packed with plenty of celebrations. February is marked by Black History Month, Valentine’s Day, President’s Day, and even National Acts of Kindness Day. This month’s reading challenge offers just as many exciting challenges to engage readers in all of the above topics and many fun surprises.
This challenge features 10 mini-reading goals for your child to complete across the month of February. We’ve included a few recommendations for each goal.
The goal is for your child to enjoy books throughout this month so there is no right or wrong way to complete this challenge. Your child can check off the books in any order and even revisit some goals with different books. Remember this is designed to be fun. The more interesting ways kids find to engage with books, they’ll naturally grow into an avid reader.
